​Hey, I'm Dane Jacobson. I'm an educator, technologist, and lifelong learner exploring the intersections of AI, creativity, and education. I grew up in Washington and Arizona during a time of massive digital change, surrounded by the early waves of the internet, computers, video games, and creative software in the 90s and 2000s. Technology has always been a constant source of inspiration that has sparked creativity and innovation within all personal and professional aspects of my life.

With over a decade of experience in math education and instructional coaching, I’ve always been passionate about making complex ideas clear, engaging, and accessible. My background includes a Bachelor’s in Mathematics from Northern Arizona University, almost a Master's in Statistics (I unfortunately dropped during my last grad school semester due to family issues), and a Master's in Educational Technology. I'm currently earning my doctorate in Instructional Technology centered on AI in education.

These days, I focus on AI-integrated learning and policy, instructional design, and creative tools that help both students and teachers adapt to future-ready environments. Whether it’s building custom GPTs for personalized learning, designing HTML-enhanced Canvas pages, automating administrative workflows with Google App Script, or leading professional development on emerging tech, I love crafting tools, systems, and policies that solve real problems in education.

I also experiment with AI-generated video, music, and design, blending my love of tech with a deep curiosity for what’s possible when human creativity meets machine learning. When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me editing videos, making music (drums and guitar), watching old movies, enjoying old-school video tech, or playing video games. :)
