About
This page provides an overview of my professional background as a math educator and educational technology coach, as well as my personal interests and creative side projects. You'll find my resume, educational philosophy, and a collection of work that reflects my curiosities beyond the classroom.
My Story
I grew up in Washington during a time of massive technological change, surrounded by the early waves of video games, computers, and creative software in the 90s and 2000s. Technology was a constant source of inspiration — something that sparked creativity, exploration, and a lifelong curiosity about how things worked.

After moving to Arizona, I pursued mathematics at Northern Arizona University and continued into graduate studies in statistics. It was during my time at NAU that I discovered a passion for teaching — not just solving problems, but sharing knowledge, sparking understanding, and helping students build real connections with ideas. Teaching college-level mathematics opened a door I hadn't expected, and made me realize how much I valued communication, creativity, and helping others grow.

Over the past ten years, I've had the opportunity to teach at both the university and high school levels, blending academic rigor with a passion for making learning accessible and engaging. More recently, I've expanded my role as an Educational Technology Coach, working directly with teachers to integrate technology meaningfully into instruction, enhance learning environments, and help prepare students for a rapidly evolving world.

Along the way, I realized I craved something even more — a way to apply ideas beyond the classroom, to create tools and resources that could have a wider impact. That drive led me toward building projects that combined my background in math with my love of technology and innovation.

When AI began reshaping the educational landscape, it felt like the natural merging of everything I loved: mathematics, technology, creativity, and real-world problem solving. It reignited my passion for learning and sparked a new mission: to help reshape and redefine how we approach education in an era of breakthrough technology — not just at the classroom level, but across systems, tools, and the broader future of learning.

Today, through creative projects, AI integration, instructional technology innovation, and coaching, I’m working toward a future where learning is more personal, more innovative, and more deeply connected to the possibilities that technology unlocks.
